JennyCrusie.com underwent a major redesign in the Summer of 2005 and even more recently we completed a minor design tweak in an attempt to streamline navigation and bring the site's graphics up-to-date with new fonts and logos that will be on all of Jenny's future related media (call it a brand if you must).
And for those of you who keep wondering, the site is designed and maintained by Jenny's daughter, Mollie (whom Jenny heavily exploits but compensates accordingly). Mollie got sucked in to this years ago when Jenny misplaced the WYSIWYG application that she maintained her website with (Jenny did it all herself in the old days). With no html knowledge what-so-ever, Mollie agreed to help out back in 2002 and hasn't been heard from since.
JennyCrusie.com has been moved to a new server where its 100 some pages will live and no doubt multiply to staggering new heights. The new hosting space will also allow visitors to see and bookmark the full URL address of every page (baby steps people).
The overall site has been streamlined by removing over 150 unnecessary graphic images (well, Jenny liked them but Mollie is ruthless) and converting from a table-based layout to one controlled entirelyby Cascading Style Sheets.
By incorporating CSS for layout and presentation throughout the site, we've attempted to make it more accessible to our visitors with disabilities (as well as those still on dial-up). We're proud to say that soon (with the exception of the homepage) JennyCrusie.com will be compliant with existing accessibility guidelines, including Section 508 of the US Rehabilitation Act and the W3C's Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
In other words, "More than you wanted to know about Jenny Crusie" just got more-er.
